Overview

The px group is a fully integrated infrastructure solutions business that delivers improved operating performance of commercial and industrial facilities.

With a history of operating strategic assets including Europe’s largest CCGT plant, and gas processing facilities providing approximately 6% of the UK gas consumption, px has gained valuable experience in minimising risk and maximising profits, in a safe, professional, and environmentally conscious manner. px has been involved in the development, operation and management of assets with a construction cost in excess of £1 billion.

px operates on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis, across a diverse range of low and high hazard industries including power, gas, fuel storage, waste, biofuel, renewable energy and petrochemicals. Operating throughout the UK, px also provides services to other global businesses and has experience in areas such as the Middle East, Europe and South America.

The px group currently employs a core team of around 300 people, supplemented by approximately 500 specialist contract staff. A large percentage of our employees are engaged directly in O&M delivery, working at our operational sites. However, in addition we have an Engineering & Consultancy Division and an Energy Trading & Optimisation Division who can offer a range of additional services to our clients.

px currently operates two strategic top tier COMAH fuel terminals in the UK with a combined annual throughput in excess of 1.2 billion litres, employing 23 permanent staff. Both terminals store a variety of fuels including petrol, diesel, gas oil and kerosene which are transported via rail, pipeline and road.
