TSA comments on plans to end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2035

As the government looks to bring forward plans to end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2035, Peter Davidson, Executive Director of the Tank Storage Association, said: “As essential energy partners, we are determined to ensure that our sector can support and facilitate access to the broad mix of solutions that will be necessary to meet the UK’s emissions reduction targets. While our sector already has some insight into what a changing landscape might mean for its infrastructure, ultimately, significant investment, along with well-coordinated efforts and collaboration with government and all partners, will be key to seize opportunities and enable solutions for change.”
