Supporting our Specialist Industrial Services and Marine Vessel Tank Cleaning operations across the UK, Augean is pleased to introduce its new fully self-contained mobile cleaning and safety unit. Purpose-built to support complex industrial cleaning projects, the unit combines high-performance cleaning technology with comprehensive safety and emergency response systems in a single, highly capable solution.
Industrial tank cleaning is often carried out in challenging environments where site infrastructure is limited, access to utilities is restricted, and work activities involve confined space entry, working at height and the handling of hazardous substances. Designed to overcome these challenges, the new unit enables our specialist industrial cleaning teams to arrive on site with all the equipment required to safely and efficiently complete the task. By providing its own cleaning systems, power, compressed air and emergency response capability, the unit reduces reliance on client infrastructure while enhancing operational efficiency, safety and response times.
The specialist unit is equipped with:
- Two high-pressure water jetting units
- 350 CFM air compressor supporting breathing apparatus equipment
- Air pumps
- Various pneumatic tools
- Tripods, winches and retrieval devices for confined space rescue
- Fall protection and working at height equipment
- Long-line breathing apparatus equipment
- Gas monitoring equipment
- Fully stocked first aid system
- Automated external defibrillator (AED)
