TSA comments on today’s announcement that an agreement between the UK and EU has been reached
In response to the news, Peter Davidson, Executive Director of the Tank Storage Association, said: “Today, we welcome the announcement that an agreement between the UK and the EU has been reached. The tank storage sector plays a significant and leading role in international trade and provides the critical link in the transportation system for liquid products, from transport and heating fuels, to chemicals and food-grade products. We will review the full details. As we look ahead to 1 January 2021, there is no question that there will be changes to the environment in which we operate. It is therefore essential for government to continue working in close partnership with our sector to ensure that we can continue to deliver and thrive.”
